Founding VP, Finance & Capital
Owns the company's financial architecture. This is an entrepreneurial founding-stage opportunity to build the finance function, capital strategy, and investor readiness from the ground up.
Employment type: Strategic executive / part-time or fractional to start, with potential to expand as funding and company operations grow.

The mission
Own the financial model, budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow management, unit economics, and financial reporting, while shaping capital requirements, investor readiness, due diligence, financial strategy, and banking relationships.
What you'll own
- Build and maintain the company financial model
- Lead budgeting and forecasting
- Manage cash flow and liquidity
- Define and track unit economics
- Produce financial reporting for leadership
- Model capital requirements across growth stages
- Drive investor readiness and supporting financial materials
- Lead financial due diligence with institutional partners and lenders
- Set overall financial strategy
- Build and manage banking relationships
Bootstrap orientation
We are looking for an entrepreneurial operator who is comfortable creating a finance function from the ground up, working with limited resources, prioritizing what matters most, and communicating directly with the founder and executive leadership team.
Preferred background
- Demonstrated finance leadership experience across financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting
- Ability to independently manage capital planning, investor materials, and banking relationships
