Founding VP, Operations & Care Delivery

The mission

Own day-to-day care delivery: shift coverage and scheduling discipline, caregiver hiring and onboarding throughput, visit verification and documentation compliance, incident response, and the repeatable operating playbook used as service expands county by county across Southwest Georgia.

What you'll own

• Own shift coverage, scheduling discipline, and caregiver utilization
• Reduce uncovered shifts, call-outs, and last-minute schedule gaps
• Own caregiver hiring throughput from application to first shift
• Build caregiver retention, training pathways, and support practices
• Own visit verification, documentation completeness, and supervisory visit cadence
• Run incident reporting, escalation, and audit readiness
• Write the operating playbook used to open each new service county
• Manage labor cost, overtime, and margin per care hour alongside finance
• Build and lead the operations team as the company grows

Bootstrap orientation

We are looking for an entrepreneurial operator who is comfortable building an operating function from the ground up — designing the system one week and solving an uncovered weekend shift the next — working with limited resources and communicating directly with the founder and executive leadership team.

Preferred background

• Operations leadership experience in a field-workforce or multi-site business
• Home care, home health, hospice, or staffing experience is a strong plus
• Track record improving coverage, utilization, or fulfillment metrics
• Comfortable with both systems design and day-to-day problem solving
• Entrepreneurial and effective with limited resources at a pre-launch company
