Home Care Business Development Manager

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager who already has an active book of referral relationships in the Southwest Georgia non-medical and senior-care space and can start converting them into SWGA clients immediately. This is not a role to build a network from a cold start — we need someone who can pick up the phone, call contacts they already know, and bring admissions in the door within the first weeks on the job. You will be the face of SWGA to hospital discharge planners, physician offices, Area Agencies on Aging, assisted living communities, and other referral partners you already have relationships with. On-site and field-based across Southwest Georgia. Compensation: competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives tied to new client admissions.

Full-timeAlbany, GABusiness Development / Sales

What you will do

  • Immediately activate your existing network of referral contacts — hospital discharge planners and case managers, physician offices, Area Agencies on Aging, assisted living and personal care homes, skilled nursing facility discharge teams, and other community partners across Southwest Georgia — to generate client referrals from day one.
  • Clearly represent SWGA's non-medical personal care, companion, and sitter services to referral sources, and explain the difference from skilled home health and hospice so referrals are routed to the right level of care.
  • Respond quickly to inbound referrals and coordinate with our Intake Coordinator and RN Supervisor to get new clients scheduled for their free in-home assessment without delay.
  • Own a referral pipeline from first contact through signed Service Agreement, tracking activity and conversion in our CRM.
  • Continue expanding your network through community events, health fairs, senior expos, and provider networking throughout the service area.
  • Meet or exceed monthly new-client admission targets, with an expectation of early traction given your existing relationships.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with your existing referral partners to keep referrals flowing consistently, not just as a one-time push.
  • Work closely with the Administrator and RN Supervisor to make sure referred clients are a good fit for SWGA's licensed, non-medical scope of service.

What you need

  • Required: an existing, active book of referral relationships in the non-medical home care, senior services, or related post-acute space within the Southwest Georgia / South Georgia market — this role requires relationships you can leverage on day one, not ones you will build from scratch.
  • Proven track record generating client referrals and admissions specifically in non-medical private/personal home care (not solely skilled home health or hospice sales, though that experience is a plus if paired with local relationships).
  • Clear understanding of the difference between non-medical private home care and skilled home health/hospice referral pathways, so you route and represent referrals accurately.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the outside-sales instinct to make the ask and close the referral quickly.
  • Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable with CRM-based pipeline tracking and reporting.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout the service area daily.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but a strong local referral network and track record will outweigh formal education requirements.
