Investor briefings, long-form features, institutional partners

South West Georgia Homecare is a privately held, development-stage healthcare company headquartered in Albany, Georgia. The company was founded to address a specific regional problem: rural Southwest Georgia families carrying care for aging parents and relatives with disabilities often have no reliable guidance about what help exists, and face persistent caregiver turnover when they do find help. SWGA Homecare is building a locally owned, non-medical in-home care organization around its own technology — care coordination, visit documentation, caregiver workforce operations, family communication, and governance tooling including append-only audit logging and emergency preparedness readiness. Alongside direct home care, the company operates the Healthcare Access Network, a platform through which independent, Georgia-licensed clinicians offer telehealth and care access to patients across the region. Those clinicians practice under their own licenses, retain full clinical responsibility, and bill under their own NPI; SWGA Homecare provides the technology infrastructure and takes no share of professional fees. The company is organized to operate under Georgia Department of Community Health licensure requirements, and its growth framework sequences licensure, service capability, and regional expansion in stages. South West Georgia Homecare is led by founder and Chief Executive Officer Justin Atkins.

Privacy & ethics

Media guidelines for covering care

Home care happens in people's homes. These rules protect the families we serve and keep coverage accurate.

Client homes are private residences

Care is delivered inside private homes. No photography, filming, or audio recording may take place in a client's residence without that client's prior written permission and the company's coordination.

Written HIPAA authorization is required

Any identifiable client or patient information, image, or voice requires a signed, unrevoked HIPAA media authorization on file before publication. Requests are reviewed by the company before any visit is scheduled.

Caregivers speak for themselves

Employees may decline interviews without consequence. Statements by individual caregivers represent their own views unless the company confirms otherwise in writing.

Clinical independence

Clinicians in the Healthcare Access Network are independent and licensed in Georgia. They retain clinical responsibility for their patients and bill under their own NPI. Please attribute clinical decisions to the treating clinician, not to SWGA Homecare.

Development-stage accuracy

SWGA Homecare is a development-stage company. Please do not describe the company as accredited, as holding hospital contracts, or as operating statewide. The press desk will confirm current licensure and service status on request.
